| First, the site is still in a flux of testing, and not quite ready for the search engines or linking up to the auto feeds. With that said, read on to find out where we go from here!
I just bought the domain name http://finetunedfashion.com/ for the new magazine platform.
Why this and not Designing Diva like I first planned. Because sometimes when you get really busy and start multitasking, you forget to do really important things like check to see if anyone else has the website address.
Well, DD was out there in every shape and form, many with no content, and just sitting stagnant GRRR!!!
SO, Fine Tuned Fashion will be the new Magazine name, and The Designing Diva will be a section of the mag dedicated to tutorials such as crafts and sewing, and other home or beauty how-to's.
The next problem is, I am still testing platforms to find the best "free" one I can use, and have made a test site on several. including the one like this platform, that the http://finetunedfashion.com/ address is currently been directed to.
The Designing Diva site that is being tested on the Ucoz platform, can not be used now, because of the name, altho I will keep it there for now, and use it as a tester. That Ucoz platform seemed somewhat cumbersome to me on the admin/cpanel level, and not so easy to navigate around, as well as seeming a bit unstable as a platform as well.
The forumotion platform has seemed 99% stable in the 4 years or so I have used this service, so for now I am redirecting the new name there. The beauty of buying a domain name tho, is I can redirect it anywhere I need to, at anytime, so moving is always easier, if it has to be done!
http://finetunedfashion.com/ will not be like the FashionVixens.Net site, it will not be a forum, or a community, or full of games, and other like activity. You will be prompted to "sign up" if you want to receive the monthly newsletter we plan to have, as well as be informed of freebies we will give subscribers, and any other special promos or gifts we might give away. This will also include a copy or link to where the new magazine will be available for download (in the future).
I still need tons of "staff" help here, which means writers (fashion, beauty, makeup, style, trends, celebs, crafts, you name it, if it is fashionable, we need to write about it!) as well as graphic artists for the visual end of things. Please note, this is a contributing position at this time only, but your writing and contributions will get seen and shared globally and automatically across over 60 feeds.
Again, if you are interested in becoming part of this, please first be a member of http://fashionvixens.forumotion.com OR ( http://fashionvixens.net ) and message me.
I am losing my mind lol, as I really am trying to do to many things at once, by myself, and everything would come together a lot faster and easier if there were a team. So I need any and all of you creatives. We have a domain name now, this get's serious starting Now! ;)
Allons-y!! Let's go!!

| An Update: I am still working on this as time allows this week. I have also begun looking around for magazine templates to use online for the downloadable mag. If anyone has suggestions of free resources to use straight away, please share | |
